How buying with us works

  1. Pick a boat and message us with its reference: we confirm availability, price, VAT and paperwork before you travel.
  2. We arrange the viewing at the boat’s marina and, if you wish, a sea trial and an independent survey.
  3. We support the offer, deposit and purchase agreement, and check registration, liens and tax status.
  4. We guide you through the change of ownership and handover. Afterwards we can help with a berth, maintenance or charter management.

Frequently asked questions

Which taxes apply to buying a pre-owned boat in Spain?

A sale between private individuals is normally subject to the regional transfer tax (ITP). If a company sells, the price usually carries VAT. Each listing states the VAT treatment and we confirm it before any offer.

Which licence do I need?

It depends on length and use. As a guide: Licencia de Navegación up to 6 m, PNB up to 8 m and PER up to 15 m. Each listing shows the length and we tell you which licence applies.

Pre-owned RIBs and inflatables

RIBs are light, stable and easy to moor or beach: that is why pre-owned RIBs are among the most sought-after boats in the Balearic Islands. Here are the used RIBs for sale in Mallorca and Catalonia, including zodiac-style rigid inflatables, with photos, price and engine.

RIBs up to 6 metres can be skippered with the titulín (Spain’s basic Licencia de Navegación) if the engine has suitable power; those from 6 to 8 metres require the PNB (Patrón de Navegación Básica) and allow more power and more people. Check the condition of the tubes, the engine’s date and its hours before deciding; we help you with the check. Also see our boats for the titulín.

Frequently asked questions

Which RIB can I skipper with the titulín?

RIBs up to 6 metres with power suitable for the boat, by day and less than 2 nautical miles from a port.

How long do the tubes last?

It depends on the material (PVC or Hypalon), how the boat has been used and how it has been stored. We check them with you at the viewing.
